The First Nations Health Authority (FNHA) funds a network of residential treatment centres across BC, offering culturally grounded programs for adults, youth, and families. Services vary by location and include individual and family counselling, cultural ceremonies, trauma-informed care, and support for concurrent mental health concerns.

Eligibility: FNHA funding is available to First Nations and Status clients aged 19 and older who have been living in BC for more than three months. Please note that Métis and Inuit clients are not eligible for FNHA funding.

How to Apply: Clients cannot self-refer. A counsellor or referral worker must complete the Referral Application Package online and fax it directly to the treatment centre(s) the client is applying to, addressed to the Intake Worker. There is no cost to the client or the Band.

To learn more or access the referral application, visit the FNHA Treatment Centres page.
